Kevin Kearney is a physicist and serial entrepreneur who led the formation of Starris, having managed business development for Optimax in the areas of space and astronomy. He also served as director of R&D for Optimax, which produces the optics behind the latest breakthrough technologies in aerospace, defense, and semiconductor metrology. He has previously served as founder/CTO of several companies in the photonics market, as well as a research scientist at the U.S. Naval Research Lab and the University of Rochester’s Laboratory for Laser Energetics.

Kearney provides product and technology-roadmap strategy and advises Starris in market positioning and competitive intelligence.
