Mike Hyman’s career with Starris’s parent company Optimax spans more than 20 years of working with high-performance optical components, including lasers, lenses, and mirrors. His roles and responsibilities have escalated to chief technical officer, and previously as manufacturing metrology engineer, group leader, manufacturing manager, and manager of the Laser Grade Optics Business Unit. He plays a pivotal role in driving technological innovation and strategic initiatives, managing complex projects from concept to completion, with expertise in the design, development, and optimization of advanced optical systems.
Hyman also is highly effective in bridging engineering, manufacturing, and business operations. He holds a master’s degree in manufacturing and mechanical systems integration and a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering technology.
